Dining for the Tea

Hey Denise,
I know you all have alot to deal with, putting together the tea. If you don't mind, if you give me the amount I will have to work with; I will take responsibility for the food. I will touch basis with you every Friday. I have totally ruled out Delta's culinary arts Dept, as Barbara has probably told you. Let me know, and little does she know but I will also put Jenifer on the job also. I think the two of us can stir somthin' up!?!

I'll be watching. Barbara found a restaurant today in lodi that may be able to cook the food for a very fair price. We are going trying to schedule a meeting with them on Thursday morning. We think we may be able to get them to do it for around $300.00. This would be great. The only thing is that we have to pick the food up and then we will have to find ways to keep the food warm.We just need to find enough chaffing dishes among us or we could even rent some if we need to.I haven't looked but I think we have around 600 or so dollars to work with. The cost of the decorations will be around 180, The invitations around 35, and40 maybe for the goodie bag with the poem thing. We will also need to purchase fruit ourselves if we go this route. Maybe we could get someone to see if costco could donate beverages and paper products as well as eating utensils. That would also leave some money for more prizes. We still need someone to approach starbuck for a coffee setup. We also haven't gotten anywhere with collecting free gadgets from different agencies either. Remember allt he free stuff we got at the job fair. We need people to start working on that too.If you and jennifer want to go with us Thursday that would also be wonderful. We are looking at eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. They will have menus for us to look at. The more input from other the better it would be.If this place works out then everything should fall into place. It would be great if you guys could be in charge of the food, especially the day of the event as well. Thanks

Dante's Pizza does catering type services. Or at least they used to when I worked there in high school...which was way too long ago. Anyway, they do pastas that are really good. Like a raviolli and stuff. They are well priced also. Another place in Stockton with good food you might wanna try is Davinci's.

Hey,
Costco does not donate like that, you need 30 days to get costco donation and you must fill out their form for request, then they will usually give a $25 gift card for their store and you then use the gift card to make your purchase of nec. items........(I deal with them often, I am the fundraising chairperson for my son's music program) Starbucks does not donate ever. This info. I get from the repeated response every time I have asked at the different stores as well as the letter they wrote me back in response to a donation request.......We have had good luck with food donations from Food 4 Less, and a couple of times from Safeway and Savemart. What about each clinical group providing food items? Much like the cultural presentation?? Just within
