Welcome to the Class of 2008 blog community. This is the spot for students, past students and faculty to share resources, tips, tricks and information. Check back frequently for student association events, study questions, photos and more. Here you may ask those burning questions and offer feedback and assistance to others as we walk this road together.

I think that will be a cumulative answer as there does not appear to be a pat answer to refer to in the text:
Off the top of my head...
During ambulation - falls, etc
While moving - from bed to gurney
During ROM exercises - over extension
Incorrect meds - wrong dose
Returning to home enviroment - falls, etc.
During invasive procedure - foley, ng tube
Expand on situations like this, and I think we will be fine.
See chpter 30 "Safety" also (even though it has not been required reading)
I too was thinking along those lines, orthostatic hypotension, certain disease processess like osteoperosis, possible inner ear problems causing equilibrium to be off, mental stability etc.....
