Songs for graduation

What are we doing about graduation songs??? Mary Neville wanted our choices ASAP when she came to see us and as far as I know we don't have anything picked out. Anyone know the answer to this??

Hey, I thought of a really good song for our slideshow. It is Whenever you remember by Carrie Underwood. Just thought I would throw the idea out there. These are the lyrics:

"Whenever You Remember"

When you look back on times we had
I hope you smile
And know that through the good and through the bad
I was on your side when nobody could hold us down
We claimed the brightest star
And we, we came so far
And no they won't forget

[Chorus]
Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believed that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember

When you think back on all we've done
I hope you're proud
When you look back and see how far we've come
It was our time to shine
And nobody could hold us down
They thought they'd see us fall
But we, we stood so tall
And no we won't forget

Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believed that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember

Yeah, Oh

We claimed the brightest star
And we, we came so far
You know that we, we showed them all
And no they won't forget

Yeah

Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believed that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember

Whenever you remember

Oh, whenever you remember

Nurse Nickey, will you be collecting pictures posted on our blog from the fisrt semester on? Or only pictures turned in on a CD as you mentioned? Will you let us know when and who to turn in our CD's of pictures or can we continue to post them on the blog so they are all in one spot? Thank you "Happy holidays" :)

how about "so hard to say good bye" (boys II men), "my wish" (rascal flats), "a moment like this" or "brake away" (kelly clarkson), "when u believe" (whitney houston & mariah carey) a song maybe dedicated to our friends or those who stood by us in our struggles "There you'll be" (Faith Hill), "Graduation" (Vitamin C)

That sounds great guys...I also like this song by GRAHAM COLTON...this song is featured on American Idol this season and is pretty new!

"Best Days"

With everything I've ever done
I'd give it all to everyone for one more day
Another night I'm waking through
Anther door I walk into
I can't break

It's a winding road
It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late
Cuz these are the best days
There's always something tomorrow
So I say let's make the best of tonight
Here comes the rest of our lives

I count the steps the distance to
The time when it was me and you is so far gone
Another face another friend
Another place another end but I'll hang on

It's a winding road
It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late
Cuz these are the best days
There's always something tomorrow
So I say let's make the best of tonight
Yeah let's make the best of tonight
Here comes the rest of our lives

It's a winding road
It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late
Cuz these are the best days
There's always something tomorrow
So I say let's make the best of it
So don't wait cuz no-one can tell you it's too late
Cuz these are the best days
There's always something tomorrow
So I say let's make the best of tonight
Yeah let's make the best of tonight
We'll make the best of tonight
Here comes the rest of our lives

*One of my friends that graduated from the nursing program said, it would be good to have a fast beat song on the slide show too. Sound good to me, so I went on a top ten graduation song site, and this song was on the list. This song was originally created by Diana Ross, and remade for the “Maid in Manhattan” movie. I thought it was light and fun, I do like the Diana Ross version better though:
